FRESSNAPF extends full-service ICT contract with QSC AG
Cologne, November 27, 2014. FRESSNAPF Tiernahrungs GmbH, Krefeld, has extended its comprehensive IT and TC service contract with QSC AG for a further five years. The contract now runs to December 31, 2019, and has a volume of around € 13 million. With more than 1,300 stores across Europe and total sales of around € 1.56 billion (2013), FRESSNAPF Group is Europe's largest pet supply retailer and the third-largest worldwide.
FRESSNAPF already works with QSC as a one-stop provider of IT and TC services. These services comprise SAP operations, including SAP BI on HANA and SAP applications support. In addition, around 800 German stores are directly linked to the company headquarters in Krefeld with an MPLS-VPN from QSC AG. FRESSNAPF has now extended the ICT contract for a further period of 60 months.
The decision to extend was triggered above all by the flexible, partner-like relationship with QSC, comments Roland Vorderwülbecke, IT Director at FRESSNAPF: "QSC has proven to be a professional partner, one always able to react rapidly and uncomplicatedly to challenges in our day-to-day IT issues. We greatly appreciate this interaction on equal terms."
Henning Reinecke, a QSC Management Board member, stresses: "The smooth operation of all systems, especially ICT systems, is a crucial factor in any company's business performance.
